Tournament Information
General
Stroke play tournaments are held weekdays during the summer.
You must be a current (FY26) WCWGA member to register to play in a tournament.
Not a FY26 member? Join NowWCWGA members are obligated to use carts.
A tournament is canceled only by order of the greenskeeper or by the Tournament Chair if conditions warrant. If a tournament is canceled, Venmo payments are returned and checks are shredded. To confirm if a tournament is canceled due to bad weather, call the course the morning of the tournament and/or check the Website or our Facebook page. Members on the players list of a canceled tournament will be given tournament played credit.
There is a $5 entry fee for each tournament ($4 for the purchase of golf balls for prizes and $1 donation to the Worcester County Food Bank).
A player may withdraw from a tournament online via the website and should contact the Tournament Rep listed in the “Course Representatives” section of the Player’s Guide. Refunds may be given for withdrawals based on the policy of the course.
Our tournaments use GolfSoftware to manage tournaments and track scores. This system helps ensure accurate scoring, easy communication, and smooth experience for all members throughout the season. At least one player in each group will be expected to download the GolfSoftware app before the round so that live scoring will be posted. This information will be updated prior to the opening of the season.
ALL Scores MUST BE POSTED to your USGA GHIN within 24 hours of the competition date.
Wait List
Tournaments will be determined on a first come-first served basis.
If a tournament with a maximum number of players allowed is oversubscribed, first in-first out will be used as a waitlist for that tournament.
