Our tournaments use GolfSoftware to manage tournaments and track scores. This system helps ensure accurate scoring, easy communication, and smooth experience for all members throughout the season. At least one player in each group will be expected to download the GolfSoftware app before the round so that live scoring will be posted. This information will be updated prior to the opening of the season.

Scholarship Award
Each year WCWGA awards a scholarship to a high school senior female golfer from our area. Our Scholarship Chair has sent information to the schools regarding applying. If you know someone who should be considered for 2026, please refer her to the “Scholarship Award” page in this website for more information and an online application with complete instructions.
Applications must be received no later than June 22, 2026. The recipient will be invited to play in our Memorial Tournament on July 20th at Sterling National Country Club and will be awarded the scholarship that day.
Worcester County Food Bank
In 2020, WCWGA began donating a portion of our proceeds to the Worcester County Food Bank. During the first 6 years, we donated more than $8700, and we continue to donate $1 per golfer per event each season.
Additionally, we hold Canned Food Drives during our Opening and Closing Day golf events with all donations delivered directly to the Food Bank.
In Memoriam
During the Memorial tournament every year, we recognize members lost since the previous Memorial tournament.
Sadly, six members of WCWGA have passed on, to date, since last year’s Memorial:
Gina Lambert
Jessica Aubin
Sandra Zelny
Terry Reidy
Bea Tosi
Leigh Backstrom
If you have a favorite story or memory of any of them which you would like to share, please enter it on the website by selecting the "Share a Memory" button at the top of the “In Memoriam” web page at www.wcwga.org/memoriam. All memories received will be posted on the Tribute Wall.
In addition, if you know of anyone else who has left us in the past year, please let us know.
Thank you.
